First Baptist Church School serves qualified students in 3-year old preschool through 8th grade.
 Preschool
We believe that a child with a quality preschool education will have a greater advantage throughout the lifelong learning process. In our K-3, K-4 and K-5 classes, we stress personal development through hands-on learning. Each child is encouraged to become attuned with creative talents in art, nature, music and Spanish. Computers play a role in the Preschool classroom assisting in math and reading skills.
Our preschool is known for its loving environment nurtured by some of the area's best teachers who care for the children as if they were their own.
 Elementary School
Developing a strong academic foundation is the cornerstone of our Elementary education. With a 16 to 1 student-teacher ratio, each child is individually challenged by a certified teacher to develop superior learning, thinking, and organization skills in a creative classroom setting.
Science, math, social studies, English are taken very seriously at First Baptist Church School and become the basics of future learning. In our library, we have over 8,000 titles and have incorporated the Accelerated Reader program into classroom curriculum. A unique blend of enrichment courses in art, Spanish, music, computers and physical education help make each student more well rounded and ready for the next phase of hallmark education.
 Middle School
In Middle School, classes operate in much the same way as traditional high school classes. A departmentalized system enables the student to nurture certain talents and interests learned in the formative years.
As a result of our award-winning faculty and rigorous curriculum, students advance at a rapid pace. This has always led to an incredible number of high achievement test scores and accolades later in high school. In fact, students can earn high school credit for Spanish, French, Algebra I and Computer Literacy.
Social skills become more important in Middle School as students begin to emerge as young adults. Our family-oriented atmosphere as well as religious influence help the students appreciate and respect each other, their families, teachers, and the world around them. And as students form friendships, parents can be comfortable knowing what kind of families their children are spending time with. |
