First Baptist Church School's nondenominational Bible curriculum teaches the basic elements of Christianity including the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The purpose of religious instruction is not to make all students Baptist, but to instill Christian morals and values. All students attend chapel on a regular basis. A special chapel celebration is held for Christmas and Easter for the entire school.
Preschool students explore the world that God has made. Students enjoy Bible stories, activities, and prayers that are incorporated into their routine. They attend chapel twice a month.
Social skills become more important in Middle School as students begin to emerge as young adults. Our family-oriented atmosphere as well as religious influence help the students appreciate and respect each other, their families, teachers, and the world around them. And as students form friendships, parents can be comfortable knowing what kind of families their children are spending time with.
